Coastal Chanukah Celebration w/o Cholent

Last night, we had a bit of a januca party in Arenillas. For those that weren't able to attend, here is what you missed.

Three varieties of latkes: potato, yucca, and green plantain.

Verdict: all three are delicious.

Donuts with a chocolate-banana filling.

This is everything else that was on the table. Click on the image to get a detailed map.

OMG, Yoni, you never cease to surprise me,

But really where is my son and has he been taken over by alien Ecuadorians? If anyone sees a 6' very semitic , near-sighted and adorable looking guy in Arenillas who is "hungy" and helpless please let me know.

Yoni's madre.

I thought you were in the Peace Corps...

By the way you've been cooking—and baking!—I would think that you have a job in a restaurant. When are you going to let Peace Corps know that you've stopped working.

Is this reverse cultural immersion?

Maybe you should combine all of your peace corps recipes and make a book...I know a publisher :)
Happy Chanukah Yoni!

All I can say is YUM and after hearing about Avery's 4 types of latke and sufganiyot I think you have a partner in the kitchen!!
